Because my public library conference (and my last time presenting about SRP!) was in Eau Claire this year, it was a quick hop, skip and a jump up to the Twin Cities, so I took advantage of being so close to dash up and visit the MN Kordatzkys!


It was great fun to see the girls, and to have some time to chat with Christopher and Gianna (though it wasn't nearly enough, sis-in-law!). We also did some exercising, which was good, as there was a CF walk Saturday morning. It was rather chilly, though, and I had packed on Tuesday, expecting the weather to be in the 70s...

Next time, Chip is definitely going up, too, as M missed seeing her hero.

Vacation starts tomorrow, and Chip and I are heading up and over to Alaska to visit his sister Margaret and her family. I've never been, so it'll be great to have built-in tour guides (including Chip!). We'll be there a total of 9 days, as plane stuff takes up 2 days. We are taking the camera for sure, so I'll have pictures when we get back!
