So. I've been tagged. This is the first time!

And I'm going to be a bum and not tag anyone in my post (yeah, I don't allow chain letters to survive, either), but if you want to play along, just leave a note in the comments:

Six Unimportant Things that Make You Happy

1. Snail mail. 9 times out of 10, the envelopes and catalogs in the mailbox aren't for me (or they're bills... bleah), but when there is something fun, I get very excited.
2. I really wanted to be closer for this pic, but robins are rather skittish... and it's not just robins I enjoy watching bathe, but they give the most splash:
   
3. Scented lotion.
   
4. This song makes me smile every time I hear it. I've been known to replay it many times in a row. But only when I'm by myself. This version is a bit different than on the CD; I think it was expanded for Noggin:
   
   
5. I enjoy these when it's hot. And it seems to be the librarian thing to do:
   
6. Heating pads--all types. We have one that's like a mattress cover (essentially an electric blanket, but under the fitted sheet) that I love.
   

Now, I approached this by thinking of things that could disappear and life would still be pleasant. I'm not sure how else you would describe something as 'unimportant' if it makes you happy...
