store update

So I've been thinking I'd like to make some Mother's Day cards using a sketch from AmyR, even if it meant going back and using an old sketch. To my delight, she put up a new one recently and I knew I could work with that idea. (Note: the 'Mother's Day sentiment is not included yet--it'll be either inside or front bottom right.)

lacy days

Hey, I'm able to do the two birds with one stone thing here! It's been a while since I participated, but the sketch over at Prairie Paper & Ink jumped out at me this time (click on the link to see the sketch), so I used it in conjunction with the Daring Cardmaker's dare: lace.

Two things I have to admit: 1. I stretched part of the sketch to accommodate the photo and 2. I really wanted to try the part 4 suggestion of the dare, but couldn't come up with anything that would be laced foodwise. So I feel like I took the easy way out here... oh well.

I was determined this week to make sure I have something for the DCM dare, and wonder of wonders, I actually can participate in another round-up as well! Amy's been posting sketches on Fridays for a while, but I haven't jumped in yet. This time, they seem to fit together, and I have a variety pack order that can use this design, too!
