The basic idea is to create a heart mask and stamp the heck out of the negative space, remove the mask and perfecto! A beautiful, unique image! I decided this was a great time to pull out my rubber erasers and carve a new stamp to go with the whole thing.
And instead of the mask, I stamped the cutout portion, as the mask edges were too undefined with the original plan. The card also felt unfinished, so by raising the heart with pop dots, I could incorporate a background (here: several green Distress Inks flecked with water), completing the look.
My next challenge will be to design things that are less 'Valentine-y' with this stamp.
