Okay peoples, Blogger has instituted an array of design templates that are new and easy to use... so I'll be playing around with them until I find one I like.
If one really grabs you, let me know, as I may have to decide between a couple.

I'm so glad they did this! The templates are so nice. I think I would still like a custom designed one, but I like these for right now.
And they're so easy! That's the amazing part of it.
