Well, okay, maybe just 42*, but that's what we're up to so far this year. Not counting the stuff we missed, stuff we left for the birds and bees, and the stuff that was picked by others. And the bushes still aren't done!

Most of it's slowly working it's way into the freezer, when it's not being turned into blackberry limeade; last year I made freezer jam and still have a lot of that left. Plus the frozen 'straight' berries of last year's crop... so, uh, we have a lot of blackberries.

*When Chip said we should keep track of how many pints we pick this year, I had no idea it would be such a daunting number.
