Time for my contribution to Black & White Wed! For this month, I'm going to feature something that everyone in Wisconsin is getting excited about: apple orchard visits!
Honeycrisps are still the most popular apple around here--folks check at the farmer's market every week to see when they're ready. I'm excited to make a pie!

I also get excited about the first apples of the season. A popular variety here is Gravenstein. I would also go for apple pie, and also some preserves or maybe apple butter. Enjoy your harvest!
I love going to the local orchards to see all the different varieties each feature!
The other thing I love? Fresh pressed cider! Mmmm...
