This past weekend I helped celebrate a good friend's birthday (which is technically today) by co-throwing (uh, yeah, awkward word, but I didn't do it by myself--her mom helped a lot, too) a Princess Party. It was very fun and the girls had the most amazing princess dresses! 

But I'm here to talk about our treats.

I had browsed a couple of party recipe books for a fun drink and settled on a Princess Punch:

Basically, it's a cherry-vanilla cream, using cherry soda, maraschino cherries (and juice!) and then topped with half-n-half. Quite tasty! I found the fancy glasses at the Dollar Store (wedding section), so we could feel a little more regal.

And we had cupcakes, of course. Princess color! With glitter!

All-in-all, a very yummy birthday!
