Last week, while in Minnesota, I made sure to stop by the cake store again to get another candy mold (among other things...). I had O with me, and he wandered through the shelves of molds, pointing out the ones he liked. Most were too big, but we narrowed it down to either jewels or stars. The stars won!
I had some leftover cream cheese in the fridge, so I knew the maiden voyage would be cream cheese mints. I decided to stick with white, as anything else might be too pastel. My first few balls to stick in the mold were too big, so I had some extra bits to cut off...
