We spent a week in southern Indiana as our post tax season getaway. Why there? It's far enough away to be 'away', yet close enough to drive without overwhelming me*.

Plus we got to see Patti!

Most of the week we spent in French Lick, though, and despite the continual rain (which really put a damper on many things), managed to find some fun things. The most spectacular was the West Baden Resort, which we toured one afternoon between storms (so we got to see the gardens!).

Because of my headcold, we didn't take a lot of pictures. But here are a few from the resort and the mini hike we did:
