A couple of weekends ago was the second Pittman Family Reunion, with several of us gathering in New York. We're trying to hit various important places: last time was Indiana, where the youngest Pittman sibling lived as an adult. This time it was held where Eli became established as a Methodist minister in the late 1800s, near Syracuse. Several family members of the oldest Pittman sibling still live in that area.

This time we congregated at a local camp, and that was fantastic! It meant a lot of prep for the family in New York, but the whole weekend turned out to be a success. We appreciated not having to travel in between activities and there was space to do our own thing (when it wasn't raining), yet be all together for things like church and family history discussions.

Most of the Kordatzkys arrived and departed from Buffalo, so that meant we all could visit Niagara Falls, and Chip and I could briefly tour the Finger Lakes District (wine country) driving to and from the reunion!
